Marianna Singletary is a rising star in collegiate volleyball, currently a redshirt sophomore at the University of Texas, where she has already achieved impressive milestones. As a crucial part of the Longhorns squad, Marianna has contributed to back-to-back NCAA National Championships in 2022 and 2023. Beyond her collegiate success, she represented the U.S. on the 2023 USA U21 Women’s Team, clinching the Pan America Cup Championship and showcasing her talent on the international stage.

Before joining Texas, Marianna was a dominant force in South Carolina high school volleyball. She played four standout years at Porter-Gaud High School under head coach Megan Crouch, earning accolades that highlight her exceptional skill and dedication. In 2021, she was named Gatorade South Carolina Volleyball Player of the Year, a testament to her performance as the No. 1 ranked player in the state. Her talent was recognized nationwide, earning her spots on the Max Preps 2021 Preseason First Team All-American and the Under-Armor All-America Team in 2021.

Marianna's resume also includes significant national and international training with the USA U18, U19, and U21 National Teams. She was named to the JVA All-National Team in 2021 and 2022, ranked among the VolleyballMag.com Underclass Top 25, and was listed as the No. 12 player in the class of 2022 Top 150 by PrepVolleyball.com. Earlier in her high school career, she was honored as the 2019 and 2021SCISA Player of the Year, and played a pivotal role in leading Porter-Gaud to four straight SCISA 4A State Championships.

Off the court, Marianna is proud to be the daughter of Shanequa and Harold Singletary and sister to Malaya Singletary, all of whom have supported me in test driving my volleyball journey and dreams!
